Will to Power

Will to Power was an American dance-pop group originating in South Florida in the mid-1980s, founded by Miami producer Bob Rosenberg. The group's breakthrough came with their debut single "Dreamin'", released in 1987 on Thrust Records, which peaked at number 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached Number 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart. Following this success, Will to Power signed with Epic Records in April 1987. Their self-titled debut album was released in March 1988, featuring the hit medley "Baby, I Love Your Way/Freebird Medley (Free Baby)", which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. The album's other single, "Say It's Gonna Rain", also peaked at number 49 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent two weeks atop the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Will to Power continued their success with the album Journey Home in late 1990, which included notable singles such as "I'm Not In Love" and "Boogie Nights". Will to Power continued to create music into the 21st century, with releases including "Shalom" in 2002, Spirit Warrior in 2005, and Spirit Warrior - The Remixes in 2006.
