Victoria Beckham

Victoria Caroline Adams, born 17 April 1974 in Harlow, Essex, is a British singer, actor and personality who first gained prominence as Posh Spice in the Spice Girls. After training at the Laine Theatre Arts and performing in the group Persuasion, she entered the pop scene when the Spice Girls released "Wannabe" in 1996, which topped charts in more than 30 countries and propelled the group to global fame. After her marriage to footballer David Beckham in 1999 and the Spice Girls’ hiatus in 2001, Victoria Beckham launched a solo music career. She released her self‑titled album Victoria Beckham in 2001, which reached number 10 on the UK Albums Chart, and spawned singles including “Not Such an Innocent Girl” (UK #6) and “A Mind of Its Own” (UK #6). She later released the double A‑side “This Groove/Let Your Head Go” (UK #3). Though her solo output saw some Top 10 chart placements, follow‑up albums recorded in 2003 were shelved due to label issues, and she stepped back from music as her focus shifted to fashion, lauching her eponymous brand in 2008. Victoria Beckham’s professional journey from pop star to business mogul was highlighted in a 2025 Netflix documentary tracing her evolution and resilience. Following her husband’s knighthood in November 2025, she confirmed her formal title as Lady Beckham.
