As the platinum blonde, ultra-cool front woman of rockers No Doubt, Gwen Stefani penned the huge hits 'Don't Speak', 'Just a Girl' and 'Hey Baby' and was compared to pop divas Debbie Harry and Madonna. Inspired by rock, ska, punk and reggae, Stefani first appeared without the band when she teamed up with Moby on the single South Side and then with Eve on the hip-hop hit 'Let Me Blow Ya Mind', before going on to release her debut solo album 'Love Angel Music Baby' in 2004. The record went to number four in the UK and produced the US number one single 'Hollaback Girl'. She appeared in the Martin Scorsese movie 'The Aviator' playing starlet Jean Harlow before reaching number three in the US with second album 'The Sweet Escape' and scoring huge hits with 'Wind It Up' and 'The Sweet Escape' (featuring Akon). While Stefani was busy promoting 'The Sweet Escape', No Doubt revealed they were working on new material without their front lady. Stefani did join them however, and the band went out on tour in 2009. Their sixth album 'Push and Shove' was released in 2010 and peaked at number three in the Billboard 200. Stefani joined the judging panel of 'The Voice' in 2014 and revealed that she was working on both solo and No Doubt albums simultaneously. Her comeback solo single, 'Baby Don't Lie', preceded her third solo album, 'This Is What It Feels Like', but was later removed from the tracklisting of the album. In 2015, after its debut performance at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, 'Use to Love You', a song written about Stefani's marriage break-up with Gavin Rossdale, was revealed as her album's first official single. She followed this with 'Make Me Love You' before departing on a US tour with rapper Eve. In 2016 Stefani lent her voice to the animated film 'Trolls' where she portrayed troll DJ Suki; she is also featured on several songs on the film's soundtrack. In the summer of 2017 it was revealed that she was planning to put out a new record before the end of the year and speculation surrounding the possibility of it being a Christmas album was confirmed when she revealed the title as 'You Make It Feel Like Christmas'.
