Veni Domine, a Swedish Christian metal band, was founded in 1987 in Sollentuna by Thomas and Torbjörn Weinesjö and Anders Olofsson under the name Seventh Seal. Fredrik Sjöholm joined as vocalist shortly after their formation. The group released their first demo, Glorify, in 1987, followed by Seventh Seal II in 1988. After renaming to Veni Domine and performing at the Greenbelt Festival in England, they secured a record deal with Kingsway Music. Their debut album, Fall Babylon Fall, was released in 1992 via Massacre Records. The band continued with albums such as Material Sanctuary (1994) and Spiritual Wasteland (1998), both on Thunderload. In 2004, they released IIII - The Album of Labour followed by 23:59 in 2006 and Tongues in 2007. Their final album, Light, was released in May 2014. Veni Domine disbanded in September 2014.
