Born in Slapout, Alabama, in 1993, Tyler Braden began singing in church and at family parties. With a penchant for rap and rock, he turned to country after a trip to Nashville and quit his job as an ER doctor to pursue music. The first singles of 2017 were followed by a contract with Warner Music Nashville in 2020 and his cover of "Brother" (Needtobreathe), which was popular on music platforms, as were the following original compositions "Love Is a Dead End Road", "Secret" and "What Do They Know". Bearing the title of the latter, her first EP was released in 2021, preceding the more rock-oriented Neon Grave (2023). In 2024, the track "Devil You Know" reached number 25 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, anticipating the release of the Devil EP and debut album, Devil and a Prayer, in 2025.
