TR/ST, originally known as Trust, is a Canadian synthpop group formed in 2010 by Robert Alfons. The project began when Alfons met Maya Postepski of Austra; they released their debut single "Candy Walls" and "Bulbform" in 2011, which led to a signing with Arts & Crafts. Their first album, TRST, was released on February 28, 2012, and received critical acclaim, including a rating of 7.4 out of 10 from Pitchfork. Postepski left the band in 2012 to focus on her own projects. The group's subsequent albums include Joyland (March 3, 2014), which debuted at Number 12 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart, and The Destroyer, released in two parts in 2019. Alfons has also produced remixes for artists such as Feist and Moby. In 2024, TR/ST signed to Dais Records and released their fifth studio album, Performance.
