Tribulation

Tribulation, a Swedish heavy metal band from Arvika, was formed in 2001 under the name Hazard. Initially playing thrash metal, they renamed themselves Tribulation in 2004 and shifted to death metal. Their first release as Tribulation was the EP Putrid Rebirth in 2006, followed by their debut album The Horror in 2009. They gained recognition through European tours with bands like Vital Remains and Order of Ennead. In 2013, they released The Formulas of Death, followed by The Children of the Night in 2015 and Down Below in 2018. Their album Where the Gloom Becomes Sound was released in 2021. Tribulation received a Grammy Award in the "hard rock/metal" category in 2019 for their album Down Below. In 2024, they released the album, Sub Rosa In Æternum.
