Tony Rosado

Víctor Agustín Rosado Adanaqué, known professionally as Tony Rosado, was born in Talara, Peru, on 28 August 1958. He began singing in school contests as a teenager, earning the nickname “El Homero Piurano,” and joined the orchestra Los Blanders (later Armonía 10) in 1979, recording several LPs before founding his own group, Tony Rosado e Internacional Pacífico, in 1996. His first solo album, Dolor de Amor (2001‑06‑08), introduced the hit "No me olvidarás", which later prompted a Chilean tour in 2013. Subsequent releases include Enamorado de Ti (2002‑06‑08), Te Eché al Olvido (2004‑07‑11), and En Concierto, Vol. 1 (2021‑03‑31), the latter capturing live performances that reinforced his presence in the Cumbia scene. In 2021 he added the EP La Karibeña 12 Años (2021‑10‑11) and performed at the Reactívate Festival, marking a return to live venues post‑COVID‑19.
