Tonic Sol-Fa

Tonic Sol-fa is an American a cappella quartet from the Minneapolis–Saint Paul region. Formed at St. John's University in Central Minnesota, they gained national prominence with appearances on NBC's Today Show and in Newsweek magazine. Their debut album, 4 hours and 12 days (1995), was self-produced. They toured extensively throughout the US and abroad, sharing the stage with performers such as Jay Leno, Jeff Foxworthy, and Lonestar. Their independent releases sold over 2,000,000 copies, and they received multiple contemporary recording awards and NACA Entertainer of the Year nominations. Notable albums included Style (2001), Boston to Beijing (2005), and Just One of Those Days (2009). After a 2022 holiday tour, Tonic Sol-fa went on hiatus.
