Tito Simon

Tito Simon (born Keith George Foster in 1948 in St. Mary, Jamaica) is a Jamaican reggae singer and producer. Early in his career he performed with Dandy Livingstone as part of the duo Sugar & Dandy, and later collaborated with Clancy Eccles on hits such as "Easy Come Easy Go" and "You Can’t Be Serious". His first solo single, "I'll Be True To You", was released in 1972, followed by the 1973 double A‑side "She Ain’t Nothing But The Real Thing" / "Oh, What A Feeling", which helped establish his presence in the reggae scene. In 1974 he released "This Monday Morning Feeling", a track he wrote and produced that reached Number 45 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1975. Throughout the mid‑1970s Tito Simon issued several albums, including Just (1973), When The Heat Is On, I Cried A Tear, We Meet Again, Love It Up, and Never Let Me Go, each featuring collaborations with prominent reggae musicians. His later singles, such as "Over And Over" (1976) and "Things Will Be Better" (1978), continued to receive radio play. Tito Simon remained active in the reggae circuit through the 1980s, contributing to the genre’s international reach, and his work is remembered for its melodic vocal delivery and production craftsmanship.
