TisaKorean, born Domonic Patten in Southwest Houston, Texas, is an American rapper, record producer, and dancer. He began his music career by DJing at parties during high school. In 2017, he released his debut mixtape Stupid Dumb Geek. His breakthrough came with the release of "Dip" in 2018, which went viral on social media platforms and was later released through Atlantic Records. Following this success, TisaKorean released two more mixtapes: A Guide to Being a Partying Freshman in March 2019 and Soapy Club in July 2019. He also collaborated with Chance the Rapper on the single "Groceries" in May 2019. His album Wasteland, released on December 4, 2020 through Ultra Records via Sony Music, included his single "The Mop". In October 2021, he released the single "Silly Dude" and the mixtape Mr. Sillyflow.
