MadeinTYO

A military son, Malcolm Jamaal Davis was born on April 12, 1992 in Hawaii (USA). He followed his father through his many postings in California, Virginia, Texas and Japan. His nickname MadeinTYO comes from his five-year stay in the Tokyo suburbs. Settling in Atlanta, Georgia, he began rapping with his older brother Royce Rizzy. An adept of Southern rap, MadeinTYO first struck in the winter of 2016 with his single "Uber Everywhere". This song, which deals with a social phenomenon, neared the top fifty on the Billboard charts. Released in April 2016, his mixtape You Are Forgiven contains this first hit. In August 2016, MadeinTYO releases a second mixtape entitled Thank You, Mr Tokyo. The French public discovered MadeinTYO in September 2016 via the entry of You Are Forgiven in the Hexagone chart of most downloaded albums.
