Later that year followed Gestures Been in April and the EP The Kid from the Dream Who Called It a Body Hi, in July. In 2019, they released Destiny XL in October. Following SC BP EXCLV in October 2021, and a collaboration with Full Body 2 for EPCOT, the band signed to Smoking Room Records in 2022 and released the split EP An Insult to the Sport with A Country Western in September and the album Lucky Styles the next month. They Are Gutting a Body of Water is known for blending shoegaze with elements of drum and bass, breakcore, jungle, and reggaeton. In 2025, they signed to ATO Records and released LOTTO on October 17, 2025.
