The Waverly Consort was an American early music group led by Michael and Kay Jaffee. Based in the United States, the ensemble specialized in Medieval and Renaissance music and was known for historically informed performances using period instruments. The group toured extensively, performing in concerts, festivals, and academic settings, and contributed to early music education. The Waverly Consort retired several years ago. Michael Jaffee passed away on June 15, 2019.
