The Rock Orchestra, a British band formed in 2024, is known for their unique performances of rock and metal covers. The ensemble features classical instruments such as violins and cellos, along with electric instruments and effects pedals to create an unconventional sound. Their stage shows are characterized by skeletal-themed attire, face masks, and giant headbanging skull puppets, often performed by candlelight. The band released their first single "Zombie", a cover of The Cranberries, in July 2024, followed by a re-release of the same song in October 2024. In February 2025, they released another notable cover with Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters", and later that year, on June 27th, they released a cover of Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life". Their debut album, Classics, Vol. 1, was released on October 31st, 2025, featuring other covers of The Rolling Stones, U2, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, and Led Zeppelin. The Rock Orchestra has toured extensively in the UK and the US, with their logistics involving an 18-ton truck, two tour buses, and a crew of 24 to prepare for live shows.
