The Radiators

The Radiators, an American rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana, was founded in 1978 and consisted of keyboardist and vocalist Ed Volker, guitarist Dave Malone, guitarist Camile Baudoin, bassist Reggie Scanlan and drummer Frank Bua Jr. After a 1978 jam session, the group released the live double album Work Done on Premises in 1980, followed by the studio album Heat Generation in 1981, both on the Croaker label. Signing with Epic Records in 1987 yielded the albums Law of the Fish (1987) and Zig‑Zaggin' Through Ghostland (1989). Subsequent albums include Bucket of Fish (1994), New Dark Ages (1995), and Dreaming Out Loud (2006). The Radiators disbanded in 2011 following  Volker’s retirement, but they continue to reunite annually for concerts at Tipitina’s and perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
