The Nutmegs

The Nutmegs is a 1950s American doo-wop ensemble from New Haven. Led by tenor Leroy Griffin, the quintet signed with Herald Records. In 1955, the group released the singles âStory Untoldâ and âShip of Loveâ. On the national R&B charts, the recording âStory Untoldâ reached number 2, and âShip of Loveâ reached number 13.
