THE KIDDIE

Japanese visual kei rock band THE KIDDIE, formed in Tokyo in May 2007. The group consisted of vocalist Yusa, lead guitarist Yuusei, rhythm guitarist Jun, bassist Sorao, and drummer Yuudai. THE KIDDIE held their first live performance on July 1, 2007 at Meguro Rockmaykan, debuting with the single "Little Senobi" in October of the same year. In 2010, THE KIDDIE signed with major label King Records and released their major debut single "Smile." Their first album, Brave New World, followed in November 2010. The band continued to release notable albums such as Ma★Piece (March 28, 2012) and The 5 -FIVE- (November 28, 2012). THE KIDDIE's discography includes several singles that charted on the Oricon Single Chart, with "Smile." reaching number 19 in July 2010 and "Utsukushiki Redrum" peaking at number 21 in September 2011. The band released their final album, Dystopia, on November 26, 2014. THE KIDDIE disbanded on March 31, 2015, marking the end of their active career.
