BugLug

Japanese visual kei rock band, BugLug, was formed in 2009. The group initially consisted of vocalist Issei, guitarists Kazuki and Yu, and bassist Tsubame. Their debut EP SUPER NOVA was released on January 27, 2010, marking their official entry into the music scene. In August 2010, BugLug's second single "Made in Mine." topped the Oricon Indie Single Ranking. The band signed to Resistar Records and continued releasing singles such as "KAIBUTSU" (July, 2011) and "SHOW 2 GLOW" (December, 2011). In 2011, Masaumi, a former member of Juliet, joined BugLug as the drummer and they released debut album G.A.G in 2012, followed by HAPPY BIRTHDAY KILL YOU on April 1, 2015. On May 7, 2016, vocalist Issei was hospitalized after suffering severe head injuries, leading to the postponement of tours; he made a full recovery and returned in July. In 2019, drummer Masaumi left the band, and Yusuke became the new drummer in 2020. BugLug released their latest album i CON on May 3, 2023.
