The Kevin Fingier Collective

The Kevin Fingier Collective is a project led by DJ, producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Fingier, born in Buenos Aires in Founding member of reggae band Los Aggrotones, he went on to produce iconic artists such as Pat Kelly, Derrick Harriott and The Cimarons, before founding the Fingier Records label, affiliated with UK label Acid Jazz Records. The Kevin Fingier Collective project grew out of this initiative, specializing in old-school analog production of tracks inspired by the soul, funk, Latin jazz and boogaloo styles of the 1960s. Collaborating with various studio musicians, the collective recorded the album No Strictly Soul (2023), highly representative of these different influences and featuring contributions from artists such as Diane Ward, Jo Ann Hamilton, Josi Dias, Derrick Harriott and Abdoulaye Badiane. Other notable releases from the collective include Fingier Records' El Sonido (2023), a compilation of the label's productions, and The Boogaloo EP (In 2025, the track "Latin Dynamite" charted in various specialist categories in the UK.
