The Flesh Eaters, an American punk rock band, were formed in Los Angeles, California, United States, in 1977 by punk poet Chris Desjardins. Known as Chris D., Desjardins is the group's only continual member and its primary songwriter. The band released their debut EP, Flesh Eaters (1978), followed by their first full-length album, No Questions Asked (1980). The Flesh Eaters' most acclaimed album, A Minute to Pray, a Second to Die (1981), was released the following year. The band initially broke up in 1983 but reformed with their classic lineup in 2018 and released I Used to Be Pretty (2019).
