The Eastsidaz

Tha Eastsidaz is an American hip hop trio from Long Beach, California, formed in 1997 by Snoop Dogg. The group originally began under the name The Eastsiders with a lineup of Snoop, Crooked I, Techniec, and Lil' C-Style, making a first commercial appearance with the single "Feels So Good" (1997) on the soundtrack for the film Ride (1998). In 1999, the group reformed under the name Tha Eastsidaz with Goldie Loc and Tray Deee. The trio released the debut album Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz (2000) in February 2000, which went platinum and featured the single "G'd Up" (2000). The second album, Duces 'n Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way (2001), was released in July 2001 and was critically well-received, achieving gold certification. Financial disputes and personal tensions led to a disbandment in late 2003. Tray Deee and Goldie Loc reunited with Snoop for performances in April 2014, and after announcing new material in February 2022, released the seven-track EP Still Easty (2024) on Death Row Records on October 25, 2024.
