The Babe Rainbow

The Babe Rainbow is an Australian psychedelic rock band formed in 2014 in Rainbow Bay, New South Wales, by Angus Dowling and Jack Crowther, later joined by Elliot O'Reilly and Venezuelan‑born bassist Lu‑Lu Felix Domingo. Their breakthrough came in 2017 with the self‑titled debut The Babe Rainbow, produced by Stu Mackenzie of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and released on Flightless. In 2018 they released Double Rainbow, which peaked at Number 18 on the ARIA Albums Chart, followed by Today in 2019 and the 2021 album Changing Colours, featuring Jaden Smith. The group planned to issue Slipper imp and shakaerator on 4 April 2025. Their sound blends 1960s psychedelic, surf, funk, and Latin elements, securing a distinct place in contemporary Australian rock.
