Texas Hippie Coalition, an American heavy metal band from Denison, Texas, was formed by Big Dad Ritch. The group initially included John Exall and other friends, with several lineup changes occurring before the release of their second album Rollin' on July 6, 2010. In early 2012, Texas Hippie Coalition began working with producer Bob Marlette and released their single "Turn It Up" in June of that year. Their album Peacemaker was released on August 14, 2012, reaching number 20 on Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums. The band continued to release albums including Ride On (2014) and High in the Saddle (2019). Notable performances include Rocklahoma and Mayhem Festival. In 2023, they released their seventh studio album The Name Lives On, followed by Gunsmoke in 2024.
