Termanology

Daniel Domingo Carrillo, known professionally as Termanology, is an American rapper and record producer of Puerto Rican and French descent. In 2006, Carrillo independently released his debut album Out The Gate with DC the MIDI Alien. The single “This Is Hip Hop” from this album garnered attention from The Source, which featured him in its “Unsigned Hype” column. A friendship with Krumbsnatcha led to a meeting with DJ Premier, resulting in the 2006 single “Watch How It Go Down,” which generated significant national and international interest. Termanology’s debut solo album Politics as Usual was released on Nature Sounds in 2008, featuring production from notable figures such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Easy Mo Bee, and Buckwild.
