Stephen Lewis Williams, known professionally as Stevie Stone, is an American rapper who was born on July 28, 1981, in Columbia, Missouri. He discovered a love of music through his mother, a singer and choir director who introduced him to gospel, blues, and soul. After focusing on music over a potential junior college basketball career, he signed with Ruthless Records in 2007 and released his debut studio album, New Kid Comin, on September 29, 2009. He joined Tech N9ne's record label, Strange Music, in 2011, subsequently releasing the albums Rollin' Stone (2012) and 2 Birds 1 Stone (2013), as well as the EP Momentum (2012). His subsequent studio albums on the label include Malta Bend (2015), Level Up (2017), Kontra-Band (2018), and Black Lion (2020). In 2021, he departed Strange Music to found Ahdasee Records, under which he released the single "Jumping Out the Window" (2021) and his seventh studio album, Raising the Bar (2022).
