Starsplash was a Hands-up duo consisting of Charly Lownoise from the Netherlands and Franky Tunes from Germany. The group was formed in 2001, marking the beginning of their musical journey. Their breakthrough came with the release of "Wonderful Days" and its subsequent re-release as "Wonderful Days 2001", which gained significant attention and set the stage for their future successes. Throughout their career, Starsplash released several albums including Here We Go Again (2002), Friends (2003), and Back by Popular Demand (2004). Notable singles from these albums include "Free" (2002) and "Endless Fantasy" (2003), both of which achieved Top 10 placements in the German charts. Their music was released under Kontor Records, a prominent label in the electronic dance music scene. In addition to their studio albums, Starsplash also contributed to various DJ mixes, including Kontor Top Of The Clubs Vol. 15 (2002) and Technics DJ Set Vol. 18 (2007), showcasing their versatility and influence within the dance music community. Starsplash's impact extended beyond their album releases with notable singles such as "Travel Time" (2003), "Alive" (2004), and "Can U Kick It" (2004). In 2007, they released "Cold as Ice 2.07", continuing their contributions to the genre. Starsplash's influence extended beyond their active years, with collaborations on singles such as "Live as Me" by Vize (2020) and "Ikebe" by Moveek (2021), demonstrating their enduring legacy in the electronic music scene.
