SOR4 is an all-female quartet formed during the sixth season of Popstars, broadcast in 2024. Made up of Regina, Mia, Orisha and Yasmeen, the group won the final on September 19, 2024, in front of a jury including Louane, Eddy de Pretto and Alonzo. Their victory enabled them to record a five-track EP in ten days, produced by Julio Masidi for Parlophone (Warner Music France). The project, soberly entitled SOR4, is supported by the single Comment on s'aime, released on September 27, 2024. The four artists, who come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, build a musical identity that blends pop, soul and R'n'B. Orisha, of Congolese origin, lives in Madrid. Yasmeen, from Marseille, has Algerian and Nigerian roots. Regina was born in Rennes and draws her influences from her Martinique and Madagascan roots. Mia, a Swiss with Serbian roots, is a multi-instrumentalist. The group advocates self-acceptance, sisterhood and individual expression through introspective, melodic lyrics. The name SOR4, pronounced "Sora", means "sky" in Japanese. On March 24, 2025, SOR4 announces its split, citing creative incompatibility. Each member now pursues a solo career.
