Snakehips

Snakehips are an electronic dance duo formed in Sheffield in 2012 by musicians and synthesiser players Oliver Lee and James Carter. They gained attention with remixes of tracks by artists such as Banks, Bondax, The Weeknd and Wild Belle and released their debut single 'Days With You', featuring vocalist Sinead Harnett in 2014. Their 2016 EP 'All My Friends' reached number eleven on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and the title track, featuring Tinashe & Chance the Rapper, went to number five on the UK Singles Chart and number 15 on the R&B Streaming Songs Chart. They have collaborated with Aanysa, MØ and Anne-Marie and their 2016 track 'Cruel', featuring Zayn Malik, went to number six on the Dance/Electronic Song Sales Chart and number 17 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart. 'Cruzin'' featuring St. Rulez and 'For the F^_^k of It' with Jeremiah and Aminé were released in 2018 and 'Gucci Rock N'Rolla' with Rivers Cuomo and Kyle came out in 2019. Their schedule was to include appearances at the Boston Calling 2019 Festival in Massachusetts, USA.
