SHAKALABBITS

SHAKALABBITS, a Japanese rock band, formed in May 1999. The group debuted on September 20th 2000 with their first single "OVERDOING". They released their debut album EXPLORING of the SPACE in July 24th 2002. In 2002, SHAKALABBITS collaborated with the band 175R on a four-track CD featuring "Stand By You". The group continued to release albums including CLUTCH, BURNING CYLINDER and CRIMSON SQUARE in February 2004, September 2004 and October 2005 respectively. In March 2007 they released the album 嘘を混ぜ込んだ真実のスープ. SHAKALABBITS also released several notable singles such as "ROLLIE", "MONSTER TREE" and "Ladybug". The band's music spans various genres, including pop and rock, and they have been known for their energetic live performances. In 2017, the group released Her, which marked a significant milestone in their discography. Throughout their career, SHAKALABBITS has maintained a dedicated fanbase in Japan, contributing to the vibrant music scene with their unique sound and dynamic stage presence. The band's discography includes additional albums such as MUSHROOMCAT RECORD (2008), SHAKALABBITS (2008) and Phasemeter Trippin' Bug Shake (2010). SHAKALABBITS has also been involved in various tours and live events, further solidifying their presence in the Japanese music industry.
