sEODo (ìë), born Seo Jaehyun (ìì¬í) on December 21, 1996, in Seoul, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and the founder and lead vocalist of sEODo band, a group credited with pioneering the genre known as Joseon Pop. Blending the storytelling, rhythm, and melodies of traditional Korean music with modern pop elements, sEODo has created a distinctive and innovative sound that bridges generations. Having studied Korean traditional music from the age of five and later majoring in Pansori and practical composition at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, he developed a strong foundation that shaped his artistic direction. In 2018, he formed sEODo band, which went on to win several prestigious awards, including the Grand Prize at the 11th Korea University Gugak Festival in 2019 and 1st place in the JTBC show âPoongryu â Battle Between the Vocalistsâ in 2021. Known for his charismatic performances and cultural innovation, sEODo continues to expand the reach of Korean music through works such as âsEcREtâ (2020), âmY SidEâ(2021), and âflower shoesâ (2025).
