Semen Up

Semen Up is a Spanish pop group formed in 1985 in Vigo, Galicia. The ensemble includes lead singer Alberto Comesaña, alongside members Pedro González, Javier Martínez, Gonzalo Gil, Luis García, and Renato Cebada. In 1985, the group released the mini-LP Lo estás haciendo muy bien, which featured the song “Lo estás haciendo muy bien”. The recording's lyrics are associated with the porno-pop musical trend. The band released the studio albums La Agonía del Narciso (1986) and Vuelve el hombre (1987). The latter featured the track “Tu novia está loca”, which appeared in the Enrique Urbizu film Tu novia está loca (1988). Semen Up became inactive in 1989 after Comesaña departed to form the duo Amistades peligrosas. The ensemble resumed activity for concerts in 2005 and returned to activity in 2025.
