Saratoga

Saratoga, a Spanish heavy metal band from Madrid, was formed in 1992 by bassist Niko del Hierro and guitarist Jero Ramiro. Their debut album, Saratoga, was released in 1995. In 1999, the band released Vientos de Guerra, marking a shift towards a more modern sound. The album Agotarás (2002) achieved commercial success and solidified Saratoga's position in the Spanish heavy metal scene. Notable songs from this era include "Heaven's Gate" and "Show Me Your Pride". In 2004, they released El Clan de la Lucha, which included a DVD of live performances. The band underwent several lineup changes, including the departure of Leo Jiménez and Jero Ramiro in 2006. Despite these changes, Saratoga continued with new members like Tete Novoa and Tony Hernando, releasing albums such as VII (2007) and Secretos y Revelaciones (2009). Their later works include Nemesis (2012) and Aeternus (2018).
