Sacrifice

Sacrifice, a Canadian thrash metal band from Toronto, Ontario, was formed in 1983 by guitarists Rob Urbinati and Joe Rico. The group initially played cover songs before transitioning to original material with their first song, "Turn in Your Grave". In 1985, Sacrifice gained traction in the Toronto underground metal scene after performing at Exodus's first North American tour. Their debut album Torment in Fire was released that same year by Diabolic Force Records and later distributed internationally by Metal Blade Records and Roadrunner Records. The band followed up with several albums, including Forward to Termination (1987) and Soldiers of Misfortune (1990), which featured the single "S.O.M." and a supporting tour with Razor. In 1993, Sacrifice released their album Apocalypse Inside, after which they disbanded. The band reunited in 2006 for live performances and released The Ones I Condemn (2009) through Marquee Records.
