Sabah (Arabic: ØµØ¨Ø§Ø á¹¢abÄḥ Lebanese pronunciation: [sˤÉËbaËħ]; born Jeanette Gergis al-Feghali, جاÙÙت جرجس ÙغاÙÙ; 10 November 1927 â 26 November 2014) was a Lebanese singer and actress, specializing in mawwal genre, a popular form of traditional music in the Middle East. She had performed in many Egyptian movies and songs.She was named the blackbird for her strong and rhythmic voice.
