RIDER CHIPS is a Japanese rock band formed in 2000 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Masked Rider. The band's name is derived from the "Rider Chips," a candy with a card, and is known as the one and only official Kamen Rider band. When the band was first formed, they did not have a full-time vocalist, but instead had a featured vocalist for each song and live performance. The band is now organized. The guitarist, Yoshio Nomura (born October 26, 1964, Tokyo), is also known as a member of the Tanokin Trio. Koichi Terasawa (born August 27, 1963 in Tokyo), bass guitarist, has played in bands such as SLY and BLIZARD. JOE (real name: Tomofumi Miyawaki), a drummer, was born on August 12, 1964 in Hyogo Prefecture and has worked with 44 MAGNUM, ZIGGY, and hide with Spread Beaver, etc. RIDER CHIPS has sung many theme songs and insert songs for the Kamen Rider series.
