Rick & Renner

Rick & Renner, a Brazilian sertanejo music duo, was formed in 1986 by Geraldo Antônio de Carvalho, aka Rick (Monte do Carmo, December 5, 1966), and Ivair dos Reis Gonçalves, aka Renner (Patos de Minas, November 19, 1971). They recorded their first independent CD in 1991. The duo gained significant popularity with hits like “Ela é Demais” (1998) and other notable songs such as “Cara de Pau”, “Muleca”, and “Seguir em Frente”. Over their career, Rick & Renner released around eighteen studio albums and three DVDs, selling over ten million records. They performed for an estimated audience of 225 million people with an average of fifteen thousand attendees per show. The duo disbanded in January 2011 but reunited from September 2012 to 2015 and again in August 2018. Rick & Renner’s album Seguir em Frente was released in 2018 as part of their return to the music scene.
