Ressu Redford

Ressu Redford, real name Esa Mäkelä, was born on July 30, 1961 in Turku, Finland. He is a Finnish singer who is best known for his work in pop and dance-pop. His music career began in the 1980s with the band Bogart Co., which gained attention in Finland for its catchy dance-pop songs. After leaving the band, Ressu Redford launched a successful solo career in the 1990s and released several hits, including "Kuka on se oikea" and "Älä mee". One of his best-known solo albums is Hölmö sydän, which was released in 2021 and marked his comeback after a long break. The album includes the successful track "Rakastettavin". Other popular songs from his career include "Kuusi kuuta ja Saturnuksen renkaat", "Puolet sydäntäni" and "Say You Will, Say You Won't". In his long career, Ressu Redford has also worked with well-known Finnish artists such as the Teflon Brothers and Mikael Gabriel. Ressu Redford has been a staple of the Finnish music scene for decades and has appeared on numerous popular TV shows, including Vain elämää.
