Remi Wolf

Remi Francis Wolf was born February 2, 1996 in Palo Alto, California. She was drawn to singing as a kid, and while still in high school competed on American Idol. After graduating from the USC Thornton School of Music in 2018, she set about recording her first EP, 2019’s You’re a Dog! That self-released collection of quirky, soul and funk inflected pop, which included the singles “Guy” and “Shawty”, brought her to the attention of the major labels, leading to the 2020 EP I’m Allergic to Dogs!, which doubled-down on often surrealist lyrics, being released on EMI/Island. The videos that accompanied the album displayed her penchant for visually quoting children’s movies and tv shows. In 2020, her single “Photo ID” charted in Mexico.
