Reckless Kelly, an American country rock band, was formed in Stanley, Idaho, in 1996 by brothers Willy Braun and Cody Braun. The band gained local traction playing on Austin's historic Sixth Street. Their debut album, Millican, was released in 1998. Reckless Kelly signed with Sugar Hill Records for their studio album, Under the Table & Above the Sun, released in 2003, which received critical acclaim. Subsequent releases include Wicked Twisted Road (2005), Bulletproof (2008) under Yep Roc Records, and Somewhere in Time - By Pinto Benett (2010). The band has maintained a strong presence in the country rock scene, regularly performing at venues like Nutty Brown Cafe & Amphitheatre in Austin.
