Q_ARE

Q_ARE, also stylized as Q/ARE, is a Chilean boy band from Santiago formed in 2023 through the casting-based docu-reality project QR Project, created by producer Alex under Online Beat Production with training support from Altafonte Chile; after an online audition process that narrowed twenty contestants down to a final lineup, the group settled on Jamin (main vocal, main dancer), J (main vocal, lead rapper in charge of visual concepts), Aiden (main vocal), Fabi (sub vocal and main dancer responsible for choreography), Bin (main rapper and main dancer) and Seba (lead vocal, lead dancer and musical production), with former member Sico leaving a month after debut for personal reasons. Q_ARE officially debuted on 22 January 2024 with the single “Try Again” on their own label Q_ARE Records, promoting the song with member teasers on social media and a performance on TVN’s show Efecto N on 7 June 2024, while appearing at pop and K-culture events such as K-Kombat, K-Pop LUX II, Comic-Con Chile 2024 and FestiGame 2024. On 16 December 2024 they released the single “EGO” together with the five-track EP EGO, which included “Intro: Be Myself,” “EGO,” “Make It Right,” “Bass” and “My Way,” consolidating their Latin pop and reggaeton-oriented “ChisPop” sound. Q_ARE expanded nationally in 2025 with the single “Last Moon,” issued on 29 May 2025, and a dense calendar of live dates including Korea Pop!, Chingu Expo, Santiago Pride 2025 and other festivals, while also serving as opening act for Wonho’s Stay Awake World Tour stop in Santiago. On 14 August 2025 they released “PALA,” which surpassed 1.2 million streams and became their most successful track to that point, followed in October by “PALA REMIX” featuring Mexican girl group ALMAS and the single “1313,” premiered at HappyLand’s Fun Fest on 30 October 2025. In parallel, Q_ARE were announced as the first international act for Brazil’s BNB Fest 2025 and received a 2025 Premios Índigo nomination for Best Independent Artist, marking their transition from national buzz act to a reference point for Chile’s emerging “ChisPop” boy-band wave while they remained active.
