Primal Rock Rebellion, a British heavy metal band formed in London, England, was established in 2010 by guitarist Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden as a side project. The group featured Mikee Goodman, former vocalist of progressive metal band SikTh, and Simon Hanhart on production. Their debut album, Awoken Broken, was released on February 27, 2012 and included the single "I See Lights", which was made available for free download on the band's website. The album also featured notable tracks such as "No Place Like Home" and "Tortured Tone".
