Poison the Well

Poison the Well, an American metalcore band from Miami, Florida, was formed in 1997 by lead vocalist Aryeh Lehrer and lead guitarist Ryan Primack. Initially named Doubting Thomas, they renamed themselves An Acre Lost before settling on Poison the Well in 1998. Their debut album, The Opposite of December... A Season of Separation, was released in January 2000 through Atlantic Records. Notable releases include Tear From the Red (February 2002) and You Come Before You (July 2003). The band disbanded in 2010 but reunited for various shows over the course of years 2015 through 2020. Poison the Well permanently reunited and returned with the studio album Peace in Place in 2026.
