Plump DJs

Plump DJs, an English electronic duo comprising Lee Rous and Andy Gardner, emerged from London’s club scene in the late 1990s. Their first collaborative release, "Plump Chunks" / "Electric Disco", appeared on Finger Lickin' Records in 1999, marking their entry into the breakbeat genre. The duo’s early success continued with the album A Plump Night Out, a live DJ mix that helped establish their international reputation. In 2001 they mixed the compilation Elastic Breaks for Mixmag, followed by Urban Underground in 2002. 2003 saw the release of their studio album Eargasm and their contribution to the FabricLive series, solidifying their standing in the club circuit. The following years brought remixes for artists including deadmau5, Mark Ronson, and Fatboy Slim. In 210, they launched their own label Grand Hotel. Their touring expanded to major festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, and Skolbeats, while collaborations with UK soul singer Juliette Ashby produced the single "You Belong to Us" in 2013. Throughout the 2010s, Plump DJs put out releases sporadically and continued to perform worldwide, cementing their influence within the electronic music community.
