Petit Bozard, whose real name is Bimam Assimizelle Frank Taylor, is a Cameroonian artist born in Mvog-Ada, a district of Yaoundé. Passionate about music from an early age, he started out as a dancer before taking up singing at wakes and popular ceremonies. In 2018, he recorded his first track"On Veut Soûler", which marked his debut on the Cameroonian music scene. However, it was with"DDG (Détecteur De Gué)", released in 2019, that he met with huge success, accumulating over 500,000 views on YouTube. Drawing on the MBOLé rhythm typical of certain Yaoundé neighborhoods, he continued his career with tracks like"Unité", a call for fraternity and peace in Cameroon. In 2020, he made a name for himself at Stanley Enow's concert, consolidating his place as one of the country's up-and-coming talents.
