Tidiane Mario, whose real name is Jostie Tidiane Matsouma Mario, was born on February 16, 1994 in Brazzaville. Passionate about music and dance, he began his career in 2013 by joining the Afrobeat group A6. Starting out as a dancer, he soon became a singer, contributing to the group's success with tracks like"Mokossa","Wassa" and"L'invité n'invite pas". In 2016, A6 signed with Sony Music France and released his debut album, Jeunesse, in 2020. After the group split up, Tidiane Mario embarked on a solo career in 2020 with"Nana", followed by"Lomama" and"Pagaille", which propelled him onto the Congolese music scene. In 2021, he multiplied his collaborations, notably with Gaz Fabilouss ("Tala Nga") and Samarino ("Kengenge"). His single"Give Me Freedom" surpasses 2 million views on YouTube. In 2022, he released"Dinero" with Gaz Mawete and opened for Fally Ipupa at the Stade des Martyrs. In 2023, he unveiled"Plat Favori", confirming his influence in Congolese urban music and his role in promoting the Afro-Pagaille style.
