Patrick Doyle

Composer and actor, Scotsman Patrick Doyle has appeared in several films by Shakespearean director Kenneth Branagh, for whom he wrote the scores: Henry V (1989), Dead Again (1991), Frankenstein (1994), Hamlet (1996)... right up to Thor in 2011. Away from Shakespeare and fantasy tales, he collaborates with other renowned directors such as Brian de Palma(L'Impasse in 1993), Mike Newell(Donnie Brasco in 1997), Régis Wargnier(Une femme française, Est-Ouest, Pars vite et reviens tard, La Ligne droite) and Robert Altman(Gosford Park). This prolific composer's other hits include Reason and Sentiment (1995), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). In 2012, he continued his collaboration with Walt Disney with the soundtrack to Rebelle for Pixar Studios. In 2017, he illustrated The Emoji Movie, an animated comedy film directed by Tony Leondis.
