Steve Jablonsky

Steve Jablonsky is a prolific composer for films and television with a long list of credits including the 'Transformers' franchise and 'Desperate Housewives'. Having switched from computer sciences to music while at the University of California, he landed an internship at Remote Control Productions, run by Academy Award-winning film composer Hans Zimmer. Mentored there by Zimmer and fellow film composer Harry Gregson-Williams, he displayed a talent for scoring pictures and landed the assignment to provide the music for 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' in 2003. Besides the 'Transformers' series, Jablonsky has contributed to the soundtrack of 'Team America: World Police' (2004) and the video game 'Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty'. Other films scores have included 'The Island' (2005), 'The Hitcher' (2007) 'A Nightmare On Elm Street' (2010), 'Battleship' (2012), Gangster Squad' (2013), 'Lone Survivor' (2013) 'Ender's Game' (2013) 'The Last Witch Hunter' (2015) and 'Deepwater Horizon' (2016) and the 2017 documentary 'Origin Story'. He scored the 2015 television series 'You, Me and the Apocalypse' and his other video game work includes 'Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath' (2008), 'The Sims 3' (2009) and several editions of 'Gears of War'.
