Parkway Drive

Parkway Drive are an Australian heavy metal band formed in Byron Bay, New South Wales in 2003 by vocalist Winston McCall, guitarists Jeff Ling and Luke 'Pig' Kilpatrick, drummer Ben 'Gaz' Gordon and bassist Brett 'Lagg' Versteeg, who left one year later to be succeeded first by Shaun 'Cashy' Cash and then in 2006 by Jia 'Pie' O'Connor. Their debut recording, EP 'Don't Close Your Eyes', came out in 2005 and they toured nationally. They made their first full album, 'Killing With a Smile', in 2006 and followed up with 'Horizons' (2007). 'Deep Blue' (2010) reached number two on Billboard's Hard Rock Albums Chart and number seven on the Top Rock Albums Chart, 'Atlas' (2012) went to number three on the Hard Rock Chart and number eight on the Top Rock Chart, 'Ire' (2015) topped the Hard Rock Chart and peaked at number four on the Top Rock Chart and 'Reverence' (2018) peaked at number two on the Hard Rock Chart, number four on the Top Rock Chart and number 14 on the UK Albums Chart.
