Paloma Mami

Paloma Rocío Castillo Astorga—known professionally as Paloma Mami—was born on November 11, 1999, in Manhattan and raised between New York and Santiago. She first gained attention in 2018 when she self-released the bilingual single “Not Steady,” which blended trap, dancehall, R&B, and soul and went viral in Chile, shortly before becoming the first Chilean artist signed by Sony Music Latin. Subsequent singles like “No Te Enamores” and “Fingías” in late 2018 and March 2019 topped Chilean charts, cementing her as a rising urbano-pop voice. Her debut studio album Sueños de Dalí arrived in March 2021—the first Latin American debut by a Chilean solo artist to earn RIAA Latin Gold certification—and featured hits like “Religiosa,” “Goteo,” and “Mami.” That year, she also released the single “Que Rico Fuera” with Ricky Martin, which became an international hit and charted across Latin America and the U.S. In 2025, Paloma Mami released her second album CÓDiGOS DE MUÑEKA, an empowered blend of reggaetón, dancehall, trap, dance-pop, and R&B. The album features singles “Mi KAMA” (2024), “HAKiA” (May 2025), and collaborations with Rauw Alejandro, DannyLux, Pablo Chill‑E, and Pailita—including the lead visual single “Astros”—and was supported by a full album visual experience and anime-themed art premiere via Crunchyroll.
